And thanks! I think I’ll get my windshield frame painted black when it’s time to respray the rest of it in sunset silver metallic. When my original tan soft top finally gives up the ghost, then I’ll probably start my plans on converting the interior to mimic the 10AE black and blue interior using its carpet, Shinsen door panels, and redone seats.

I actually met a stylist with a Miata!

I saw an NB in the parking lot when I went to get my hair done, and overheard one of the stylists talking with her client about it. This was in the middle of a Michigan winter, and her heat had gone out, so it wasn’t super fun. She got it because she went to a track day with some friends, saw a bunch of Miatas, decided to get one of her own.

He did his job, scared away all the cones.

On that note, never autocrossed a Miata before. Made several mistakes that should have been cone hits, ended up with all clean runs. Small cars are groovy.

I think it will. My hope is that it continues to get the insane aftermarket support that the older generations have so it can be the ideal “cheap, rwd, upgradeable” Craigslist find in 15 years or so.

That Fiata... I need to drive one. I’m amazed at how few I’ve seen on the roads considering all the NDs around me
